I did not have a cork wall. In fact, I don't remember ever hanging anything on my walls as a kid. If I had a cork wall, it was in my mind. I can assure you that Raquel Welch was there, but she was not alone. She had so much company!

I remember my cork board!! thank you for this insight/reminder of days of yore …. I would set aside an entire afternoon dedicated to rearranging the items to be tacked up….typical teenage stuff - a poster of Erik Estrada (yep- I was a card-carrying member of his smiling fan club) - pet photos, poems ripped from magazines, old baseball cards won in flipping, do lists for school, pins with anti war sayings, and the Beatles everywhere….

think I may put up a new one. cheers.

I have a large cork board in my office! People send me cards and when I love them I display the photos, and there is old art of my kids in it too...I like curating my own little art gallery and it’s also a great way to procrastinate
