I'm very sorry to hear of your diagnosis, Seth. I remember my uncle having it many years ago and it wasn't fun for anyone, least of all him. Since I've never heard of a "cure" for it, I hope it and you go on forever, even if it's in bed with your computer by your side. And a dog as well. I'm sure there are worse things.
I’m so sorry, Seth! I’ve heard that magnesium can be helpful in the early stages. And this is going to sound weird, but when my legs were cramping at night (not Parkinson’s, but still…), one of my chemo nurses suggested sleeping with a bar of Ivory soap between the sheets—that and magnesium supplements did help eliminate them. When I looked up the ingredients in Ivory soap, they included magnesium sulfate, which is also present in Epsom salts. Wishing you a long, productive, and happy life. ❤️
Very sorry to hear this Seth. Stay as well and healthy as you can for as long as you can and keep writing. Hopefully as breakthroughs are made, nanocarriers and so on, you can hold it at bay.
I’m sorry to hear about your diagnosis, Seth. If I had certain brain parts back post ABI- like, oh, an amygdala- I’d likely have a few healing words. But wait! I think I I might.
I’m telling everyone I meet to read Within You Without You. Still mesmerized at how I’m a completely new fan of The Beatles music after all this time. In fact, I’m going to re-read it. And my granddaughter Madison, soon to be 2 years old, is a true Beatles fan already. I guess hearing their music since birth, pretty much like I did, is a true life changer.
I’m incredibly sorry to hear of your diagnosis. I lost my father in 2012 to a rare form of it. While the details remain hazy as far as date of diagnosis, etc, what I will always remember is his positive attitude til the end. We were blessed to have him live locally for the last 4 months of his life. We used to pull him up in the car next to the high school tennis courts so he could watch my boys compete. Memories of those moments and others are what I hold dear. You have a great attitude and a dog by your side and that will help.
Oh, man. I am so sorry to hear this. And we still didn't get our two-man show on the road! (That's on me.) But you've spread a lot of love and warmth through your words over the years. That will work its way back to you twofold. Maybe threefold. But definitely twofold. 😶
I will look forward to further updates and definitely sending positive vibes your way.
Really sorry to hear that you have Parkinsons -- but I think you are handling it very well...
I wish you the best ....and think your attitude will be very helpful.... As you said, there are worse things. And having a dog by your side is wonderful.

Great to hear from you, Gladys, and thanks for your good wishes.
I would like to come over to see you when the weather warms up a bit!
That would be great; I'd love that. Give me a holler sometime.
Will do. Take care of yourself!
